Acquisitions of Swiggy are Kint, Scootsy Logistics, SuprDaily, and 48East. Swiggy clocks about 1.4 million food orders across India with its access to over 500 plus cities and towns, 1,40,000 restaurants, and 2.1 lakh delivery partners.

About Swiggy Company History

In 2013, Nandan Reddy and Sriharsha Majety founded an e-commerce website called Bundl for shipping and courier services in India. At the same time, the food delivery sector was struggling in India, startups like Foodpanda and Ola Cafe were struggling, so both Reddy and Majety approached Rahul Jaiminii, who was formerly working with Myntra. Together they laid the foundation of Swiggy with only five delivery boys and named Bundl as the parent company of Swiggy.

Within the eight months of its starting, this startup attracted an investment of 2 million dollars. The company grew rapidly and received many more investments from big investors. In September 2019, Swiggy launched Swiggy Go, an instant pick up and drop service used to send packages like documents, parcels, couriers, lunch boxes, etc. In August 2020, Swiggy launched Swiggy Instamart, a quick doorstep service for delivering grocery and essential items.
